All this snow and cold weather lately has had me staying in most days and keeping myself entertained indoors. I decided this week to have a little experiment by making a mini chocolate cake. It's only 4 inches so is just a baby cake, and then I made some little cupcakes to go with it too! I went with a heart Valentines Day theme as it's almost February 14th! Yum yum, cute don't you think?

So along with a bit of choccy cake, I had a lovely girlie evening in some posh bubbly and champagne truffles. How cute are those little heart shaped boxes? Snuggling up on the sofa and watching a Rom Com or two in a onesie is surprisingly relaxing! I had my lovely roses and vanilla scented candle too to give a really chilled out atmosphere. If you prefer bit more excitement for your nights in, you could play online games, get on the wii, or try out some new hair and make up looks!
