A few weeks ago I took advantage of the amazing deals on Essie at Fragrance Direct. They have a selection of Essie nail polishes for only £1.99 each. Their selection seems to be constantly changing though, but I managed to get my hands on two gorgeous pastel shades; Muchi Muchi pink and To Buy Or Not To Buy lilac.

  

I love pastel shades of nail polish, and these two really stood out at me! They're so pretty and such nice colours. 

I had Googled what the shades looked like on the nails of other beauty bloggers, and the both looked really amazing! Unfortunately I struggled with the pink Muchi Muchi. It comes out very pale and opaque, and in the below photo I used about four coatings of it and it was still not opaque. The lilac To Buy Or Not To Buy is really a 'must buy' nail polish though! It's much thicker and easier to use, and the colour is just gorgeous and is realistic to how it looks in the bottle. In the below photos it has just two coats and that's all it needed.

The pink Muchi Muchi did look darker in other peoples photos, so maybe I just had a dodgy bottle or something. It's still a nice colour, just not as deep as it looks in the bottle. I am really in love with the lilac though, it's such a gorgeous shade!!

Here's my mini Essie collection so far :) I still really want Mint Apple Candy and Bikini So Teeny. Such nice shades!
