customised ipad

I'm a little bit obsessed with having my things customised or really personalised to my taste. I also love dressing up my things to make them pretty and girly, and much more 'me'! I was recently contacted by Caseable who offered me a fully customised gadget case, so I picked one for my new iPad. I already have an iPad case which I love, but I always like to change so I have been alternating it with this new one!

I designed the case myself using images from my blog layout and that I found on weheartit etc. I used illustrations because I think they give it a cute, very personal feel. So I covered it with pretty pictures of lots of things that I love on the front, and included Victoria's Vintage on the front too! Now I can take a bit of my blog everywhere I go :) 

  

On the back I chose to use a few more illustrations I found online, including of the back of a girls head, and I placed some images around it to make it look like she was dreaming of dresses and heels! I wanted it really pretty and girly so I think I achieved this. I should perhaps have used some bolder colours for the writing though to make it stand out more. The software to create the design was really easy to use and I'm so happy with how it looks in real life!

I chose to keep the background and overall colour of the case white, but you can choose from others colours too. The only problem with me choosing white is that the case is made from a fabricy type material rather than wipeable oilcloth, so it picks up dirt quite easily like a cloth would. I found this out when I kept it on my dressing table and picked it up to find it covered in foundation powder! Ooops.

The case has a tough interior with neoprene padding and elastic straps for secure hold of my iPad. It also has soft suede interior, with an inside pocket (handy!). I like this case because I can rest my iPad horizontally, and it is nice and firm and feels like it is thick enough to keep my iPad safe. Cases are hand-crafted from recycled materials in Brooklyn, USA.
